Welcome to the Game, Hero!

In the few generations that we have been around, American innovation has done nothing but change the entire world beyond the wildest dreams of those that came before us. We ushered in a mind boggling era of technological advancement that has forever altered human existence. We took to the skies, and then to space. We eradicated disease, and improved quality of life. We revolutionized communication, and then put the entirety of human knowledge in your pocket. On any given day, we can walk into a grocery store to find a greater selection of food than was available to kings. KINGS! Yet all of these modern miracles, unimaginable only a short time ago, became mundane even faster than they came into existence.

Now, the collective tone of American discourse is like a petulant child, kicking and screaming because things are not perfect, despite being the luckiest kid on the block. Given our potential, our slow and steady decline is quickly becoming the dumbest timeline in history. What the are we even doing? Enough already.

People are mad? Ok, Blame This Dude. It’s as easy as that, because blaming anyone else, politicians, the media, corporations, the rich, the poor, your neighbors that don’t vote the same as you, isn’t going to get you the results you want. Not in the long run. It all has to do with incentives. To some degree, most of us are aware that whatever issue being discussed, relevant as it may be, isn’t really the issue. There is almost always an ulterior motive beneath the facade of our national discourse, and it’s almost always business.

In this book, you will learn how to disrupt politics even harder than Gamestop disrupted Wall Street, with its historic short squeeze, in which regular Americans stuck it to hedge funds. But this book isn’t about politics, per se. This book is about how to change the way we view and address our problems as a country, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Ironically, our dumpster fire politics, (the established method of solving problems as a country), has become our biggest obstacle.

The plan is simple really, and it couldn’t be easier. Just Blame This Dude for everything, and whenever you see, hear, or read about a problem, encourage others to Blame This Dude too. Yes, I am literally insisting that hundreds of millions of frustrated Americans blame all of their problems on me. It sounds crazy, I know. And no, I’m not a martyr. And yes, that really is all you need to do in order to disrupt our dumpster fire politics. But to really understand how and why it all works, you’ll have to read on.

Careful though. This book is only for those courageous enough to challenge their own worldview, reject hardline talking points, embrace the nuance of the problems we face, and draw a line between what you know, and what you believe.

As we delve into all the moving parts behind this bold redirection of American outrage, I’ll take you back to the beginning, to share the fantastical story of how it all came to be. There are countless and incredible rags to riches stories, war stories, funny stories, and stories about overcoming adversity, but, through little to no fault of my own, I have the best story in America.
